2. AI Processing & Third-Party Providers

We use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers like OpenAI and Anthropic to generate summaries. While we share the extracted text content with these providers for processing, we do not share any personally identifiable information (PII) with them.

3. Monetization & Sponsored Content

Providing high-quality AI summaries incurs significant computational costs (AI token costs). To keep aiSummary free for our users, we monetize our platform through:

  • Sponsored Offers: We may display relevant, non-intrusive sponsored offers within the widget or extension interface. These offers help offset the token costs required to generate your summaries.
  • Affiliate Links: Some product reviews or summaries may contain affiliate links that provide a small commission to us at no extra cost to you.

Our website and extension use local storage and cookies to remember your customization preferences (like theme colors or excluded domains) and for basic, non-identifying analytics.
